About Us

Our four principal consultants are Marc Laniado, Omer Karim, Hanif Motiwala and Jas Kalsi, each of whom has their own areas of specialist urological expertise.

The services that we provide include consultation, diagnostics, non-surgical and surgical treatments.
We work closely with specialist colleagues: 
  • Pathology Bostwick Laboratories - specialist urological pathology services provided by Dr David Bostwick and Dr Isabelle Meiers 
  • Oncology: Dr Richard Brown, Dr Harpreet Wasan and Dr Steve Mangar. Both Dr Brown and Dr Wasan specialise in urological oncology and see our patients with prostate, bladder, kidney and testis cancer. They are actively involved in our patient management, participate in multidisciplinary meetings and joint clinics to help patients make decisions and deliver additional treatment.
  • Nuada Medical Specialists in 3 Tesla MRI with high resolution scans on prostates (multiparametric MRI) reported by Dr Clare Allen and Dr Alex Kirkham 
  • Interventional and Diagnostic Radiology: Dr Ali Hassan provides expert reporting on MRI and CT.
  • Specialist Nursing Sister Janette Garden, Sister Catherine Dale. Janette specialises in urodynamics tests, teaching and managing catheters, and helping men and women with urinary problems. Catherine is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner who counsels men with prostate cancer trying to make different treatment decisions
  • Physiotherapists:  Diane Wootton is a clinical physiotherapy specialist with over 20 years experience working in the field of bladder and bowel dysfunction and chronic pelvic pain. She has a graduate diploma from the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and trained at The Middlesex Hospital, London. Her NHS work is at The Hillingdon Hospital, Uxbridge as well as privately at BMI The Princess Margaret Hospital, Windsor, and treats men, women and children.
    She is a full member of The Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Womens Health, is on the Executive Committee of Chartered Physiotherapists Promoting Continence and is a clinical reviewer for The Prostate Cancer Charity.
    This year she completed an advanced acupuncture course for the treatment of bladder and hormonal symptoms.
  • Catherine Rossis a Women/Men’s Health Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist and a fully accredited member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapist’s in Women’s Health. She is the Women/Men’s Health team leader for Heatherwood and Wexham Park Hospitals NHSFT and has completed a Masters Level Post Graduate Certificate in the Theory and Practice of Physiotherapy in Women’s Health.
    Catherine has a specialist interest in Uro-Gynaecology and via Pelvic Floor Muscle rehabilitation is able to help with the treatment of incontinence (both bladder and bowel), prolapse, and pelvic pain. She is also able to aid patients before and after Gynaecology or Urology / Prostate surgeries to help reduce the risk of complications relating to continence
